& D.C.
I am known as Tony Barksdale, or D.C.
I am 6'3,190 pounds, but I'm just a big
kid, really. (smile) I would say I'm alittle complex because while I enjoy
laughter and the creation of a prank, my mind also contemplates politics,
religion, world hunger, war, sports, and mankinds basic humanity to one another.
I have a death sentence, but I am
a son, a brother, an uncle and a person with thoughts, dreams, desires,
emotion's and good intentions. There is no malice in my heart. I am NOT defined
by the sentence of death, nor the place of my incarceration. I use my time to
improve myself and try to enhance the peoples gives I am blessed to be a part of
... I read, I write poetry, I am a peace-maker. I love sport's and have
participated in them from time to time, I was a child.
I see the world as a much different
place now than when I was growing up, sadly, not for the better ...
Not a very prolonged description, but
it's who I am as I see it. I need help where I am, I need the contact of other's
lives, I need the glimmer of freee sky that you see.
The state of Alabama sees me as a
number, they put it over the cell I'm in and on the clothes I wear, it is their
plan and desire to execute me, they want to kill me...
It is my desire to live ...

Ich bin als Tony Barksdale oder D.C. bekannt.
Ich bin 180 cm gross, wiege 85,5 kg aber ich bin eigentlich
nur ein großes Kind, echt (smile). Ich bin eher komplex, denn während ich
gerne lache Streiche spiele, denke ich auch über Politik, Religion, Welthunger,
Krieg, Sport und die Menschheit sowie deren Umgang miteinander nach.
Ich wurde zum Tode verurteilt, aber ich bin ein Sohn, ein Bruder, ein Onkel und
ein Mensch mit Gedanken, Träumen, Wünschen, Gefühlen und guten Absichten. In
meinem Herzen gibt es keine Bosheit. Weder das Todesurteil noch der Ort, an dem
ich einsitze, sagt irgend etwas über mich aus./ o:p>
Ich nutze meine Zeit, um mich fortzubilden und versuche, Menschen zu verstehen,
von denen ich ein Teil sein darf. .. ich lese, schreibe Gedichte, ich bin ein
Friedenstifter. Ich mochte immer schon Sport und manchmal treibe ich Sportarten,
die ich seit meiner Kindheit ausübe.
Heute sehe ich die Welt mit anderen Augen als früher, als ich klein war...
traugigerweise nicht zum Besseren....
Dies ist keine ausführliche Beschreibung meiner selbst, aber das bin ich, uns
so sehe ich die Dinge. An dem Ort, in dem ich lebe, brauche ich Hilfe, um durch
den Kontakt nach außen das Leben und den Glanz des freien Himmels durch Ihre
Augen sehen kann.
Der Staat von Alabama sieht mich als eine Nummer, die sie über die Tür meiner
Zelle geschrieben haben und die sie auf die Kleidung, die ich trage drucken. Ihr
Plan ist es, mich hinzurichten. Sie wollen mich umbringen .
Mein Wunsch ist es zu leben....
