Dear World….

Hi! My name is Ricardo, and I reside on Texas death row. I’ve been here since June 24, 1999. I’m Hispanic, of Mexican descent. So yes, I love eating rice, beans and tortillas. And don’t forget the Jalapeños! Ha,Ha… My birthday is April 1979. I was born and raised in Robstown, Texas. A small town in deep South Texas. I’m 5’9’’ tall and weigh 180 Ibs. I have black hair and brown eyes ……

 I am writing these few lines because I am looking for a fellow human being who is compassionate and caring, a person I can call a friend. I am searching for someone who is sincere and loyal. And will take my friendship serious. Like I mentioned earlier, I reside on Texas death row. But don’t let this scare you. I am an everyday person, who enjoys talking about everyday things. Yeah, I have a death sentence, but I still have a great sense of humor. I like to laugh, I am open minded and I don’t judge. That aint my place in this world. The way I view life. No one is perfect in this world, we all make mistakes, we can’t change the future until it arrives, but we  can gain wisdom from the past and use it in the present to better our lives. Life is a challenge and we need to have the heart to face it…

 I also like to read, listen to music and sports. I like photography too. They say pictures tell stories, but they only say so much. I am a Christian, single and straight…

 Like I mentioned in the start, I’m searching for a friend who is going to be sincere and loyal. And will take my friendship serious. I’m not asking for much, just a true friend….
