State-administered death is always a greater horror than any other by virtue of the methodical reasoning that precedes it. French philosopher Albert Camus wrote that "capital punishment is the most premeditated of murders". "The United States' concept of justifiable homicide/Executions in criminal law stands on the dividing line between an excuse, justification and an exculpation. In other words, it takes a case that would otherwise have been a murder or another crime representing intentional killing, and either excuses or justifies the individual accused from all criminal liability or treats the accused differently from other intentional killers.

My name is Steve, and recently I arrived at Death Row, here in Texas. I write in hopes of gaining a penpal. Whoever choose to write will not be ill-treated, insulted, or embarrassed. I simply ask to read from people that enjoy friends.

I was born in Mississippi. I served 13 years in the U.S. army. My age now is 50, but in January that will be one, added. My eyes are blue, and hair brown. I have a touch of gray. I stand 6 foot tall, and am 190 pounds. I enjoyed outdoor activities, camping, hiking, swimming, biking, etc.... I enjoy reading, art, chess, music, and good food. I spent about a year and a half in Germany, back in 1978-80. The army took me to other countries as well. I enjoy horses, motorcycles, and various things that go along with being adventure.
